Actually I think collectors weapons should be nerfed.

Really they shouldn't have max stats, as they make most rare weapons useless except for the skin.

People just like nice skins.

And like me, that's why I don't use collectors.

This type of thing has been discussed about wayyyyyyyy too much. lol seriously, it's such a simple thing to think about, I see so many threads regarding about why the rich spend their money on rare equipment. Why do people complain that others use expensive golds/rares. Are they saying that they can't use their own money on what they want?? Are they saying that there should be none such things as rare items. If a player has millions, then they will probably spend. What else are they gonna do with their money? If you have a low budget, then just take advantage of the collectors. It's like people are trying to say that they are at a disadvantage of using collectors instead of golds. Here, if I give this 500k to a constant whiner, hmm what would he do with it? Spending on high stat/lower cost equipment(1.5k / collectors) is low enough, what else would he spend on?

Umm who cares if they waste their own money. People don't always buy weapons and armors to show off, many like the skins is all.

i disagree, collector items are good for those that dont wish to farm, i for one used collector items on most my casters

granted i had the perfect golds but i mainly used my set of collectors which had mods on them to suit each situation

Honestly, I love collector weapons. All of my casters have collector weapons.. cheap, yet good stats.

Personally, though, I love the idea of having golds or greens. I don't spam them at people in a group.. I just enjoy having them, and looking at them because more often than not, golds have a nice skin, and greens.. well, I just like greens because they have cool names.

And what better feeling is there than that of just having farmed a green you really wanted? I kept admiring Ghial's after I farmed it for my necro. It's really the IDEA that appeals to people... let us have our fun. We're not spending anyone's virtual gold but our own anyway.

My point is the VERY BEST items in the game are just collectors items, you can't get any rares with better stats. That makes other items pretty usless except for the skin.

I just think it's a cheap way to get the very best there is, and no I'm not suggestion you far for items, I just don't think they should be THAT easily available.
